A swipe app that has an opinion about clothes.

You swipe through real clothes from real shops. Left for no, right for yes, down to save. After about a hundred swipes there is enough signal to build a Style DNA: the style directions you lean on, the colours you keep picking, the fit you prefer and the price range you actually buy in.

From there the app does the part a shop cannot. It builds complete outfits around a piece, finds near-identical alternatives for less, keeps the price history so a fake sale is obvious, and answers questions like “what do I wear to a summer wedding” with clothes that are in stock today.

The catalogue is built from the public product feeds of the shops themselves: H&M, Zara, COS, ARKET, Weekday and & Other Stories. Prices, images and availability come from the retailer and can change at any moment. The shop is always the source of truth, and you buy there, never here.

Every piece is re-classified on our side, because retailer categories are unreliable: a bootcut jean filed under shoes, a pair of trousers filed as an accessory. Category, formality, colour and style tags are derived from the product itself so the outfit engine has something honest to work with.

Three things, in order. Formality: every piece gets a level derived from its type and material, and there are rules a stylist never breaks: no trainers under a blazer, no dress shoes with shorts, no flip-flops with anything smart. Colour: an outfit is scored as a whole, not pair by pair, and a second saturated colour costs points. Style: the tags are weighted by how rare they are, so “both casual” counts for very little and “both old money” counts for a lot.

The guides are the same rules, written out in plain language, and the clothes in them are picked by that same engine.

Dripswipe is built and run by DeltaDesign, a one-person company registered in the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce 42031960). It is a product, not a marketplace: no stock, no checkout, no returns desk.
